Dear Lord,

Marlene from Christ the King Parish
is asking for prayer
for her cousin, Marilyn
My cousin Marilyn has been struggling for
the past 5 years with an alcoholic
husband, rebellious daughters and
financial despair. I pray for God's Holy Will
to be done in their lives.

Michelle is asking for prayer
For her brother, Ted:
Lord, I know that there are lessons we
must all learn, but I am having trouble
seeing the lesson through this time of
joblessness for Ted and his family.  He is a
good and faith filled, brother, husband,
father and son.  How much more does he
and his family need to learn.  Help us to
understand this jobless year and 4
months.  Please Lord lead Ted to the job
for him.

Jeanne is asking for prayer.
St. John Parish
For her son:
I offer this prayer for all those who suffer
from mental illness. I offer this prayer also
for their caregivers, families and friends. I
pray too for those who suffer from the
stigma of this illness, and wish this could
be seen as any other illness.

Manny J Marrufo

Holy Angels of God,
bring the compassion and protection
of your Loved One to all these people
who are suffering such a terrible hour
of grief and pain and loss.
Shelter them with your wings and hold
them in the palms of your hands.
Angel of God and guardian angel of Andy
Parra, hold him always in God's presence.

Colleen is asking us to pray with her:
Lord, please bring peace and
reconciliation into my broken family,
especially to Dan and Mike, Tiff and Lisa.
We have suffered so much already. We
need to have unity and understanding to
grow and move forward. I ask this in
Jesus name.

Prayers for the lonely
I pray for all retirees who are finding it
difficult to adjust to their new role in life -
for aging parents who feel they are
burdens to their children, for the old and
the lonely - may they find consolation in
the wonderful arms of God.

From Eva Corsaro
from St Mary's Parish
"Please pray with me that I find
employment and for others who also
need to find a job."

From Jeanette

Let Us Pray

Ave Maria!
We now take you as our example
as we seek to “give birth” to Christ in the world around us.
We turn our eyes to you, Mary, the model of virtue and faith.
We wish to grow more and more like Christ
and enter more intimately into the mystery of the Incarnation.
We also turn our hearts toward you
so that we can better know Christ
and the whole world can be more open
to receiving the grace of Christ.

Mary, our loving Mother, your place is with God in heaven.
This gives us great hope
for it is also what we ourselves look forward to.
And so with great longing
and heartfelt trust,
we bring our prayers to you, Mary
and ask you to pray for us.

Here mention those desires, cares, and burdens which you bring to this prayer.

We know what you desire, for it is exactly what God desires
and what we really want:
       That in the end,
we may all be restored in Christ,
that everyone on earth may live in peace,
and that God’s grace may fill the world.
Then we will truly know what it means
to be the People of God.
Then we will fully understand
that Christ is the Light of Nations. Amen.
